Adriano The Dark Stalker

The day Blackhaven Institution a house for orphaned children and unwanted infants burned to the ground mysteriously, the souls of those trapped inside became corrupted by an unknown evil that warped them into demons that now dwell in an alternate Blackhaven Institution. There they await those who are dragged into this alternate world by the unknown evil through sleep.     Adriano was the only son of an immigrant family who came to Dracove City in search of a new life and fresh beginning. Drawn by the opportunities that can be found in the city Adriano's father Rodriguez and his mother Nadia moved out there when they were young and recently married, having no children at the time of their own they saw this city as a better place to someday raise a child then back home. Rodriguez struggled to find a stable job as he took many low underpaid part time jobs where his labor was exploit. During this period his wife Nadia became accidentally pregnant with his soon to be son. Rodriguez was worried about caring for his family with his painfully low paying temporary jobs and through some local connections he found himself working for the Dracove Ctiy mob around the time his son Adriano was born. It was dangerous working for the Dracove City but the pay was unbelievably good. During this time when Adriano was only a baby tensions grew in the household as Nadia severely disapproved of her husband's new job. This led to many fights and arguments until one day Nadia divorced him as she was secretly seeing a well endowed upper-middle class business man, while Rodriguez was away for long periods of time doing tasks for the mob. Nadia wanted to take her son Adriano away and start a new life with this business man, but Rodriguez did all in his power to prevent her from taking away his only son. After Nadia left, Rodriguez had a change of heart and decided to leave the mob which wasn't an easy task. Once he did he put 100% of his focus and dedication into his son. Everything was ok for awhile up to a point when Adriano was in middle school around the age of 6. Since Rodriguez had to go back to his part time jobs he soon struggled once to pay the bills for a newer home he recently purchased. Recently getting laid off Rodriguez became desperate for money as he was late on rent and was soon to be evicted with nowhere else to go. Driven by desperation he made a choice he knew he would regret and took a loan out from the Dracove City mob through his past connections with the group. This was enough to pay for the rent and keep his son Adriano happy. Though it never showed in the presence of his son, deep inside Rodriguez was scared as he was not sure how he would pay back the loan. Many months past with Rodriguez making excuses to stall on paying back the loan and the mob eventually grew impatient...

    One day after picking up his son from after school activities, on the way back home they both walked down an empty street. At some point Rodriguez noticed three familiar figures conversing amongst each other walking in their direction. Coming to a sudden realization Rodriguez whispers into his son's ear to run and find a place to hide in an alleyway nearby. Adriano hesitates asking why but his father shoves him into the alleyway. Adriano is confused and nervous but he listens to his father and hides behind a pile of black trash bags. Through a little opening between the bags Adriano can see in front of him. Adriano gulps as he hears a ruckus coming towards him, hearing his father cowering among the ruckus Adriano feels a dreadful feeling. Through the opening he sees his father get thrown to the ground and stomped out by two men. Adriano wants to scream but something holds him back as his father is beaten senselessly. Soon two of the men slam him against a wall, a third man appears with a long knife in his hand. Adriano struggles to hold back his tears as he watches his father beg for his life. Suddenly things take a drastic turn as the man begins to stab Rodriguez repeatedly in the stomach, frozen in horror Adriano cannot believe what he is witnessing. After multiple stabs the man with the knife presses on Rodriguez's body with a menacing grin, jamming the knife upwards into Rodriguez's chest cavity. Rodriguez tries to mumble a last phrase but chokes on blood as he looks into the eyes of Adriano who he has spotted hiding among the black trash bags. Rodriguez's dead body drops to the floor and the three men run out of the alley and into a car with tinted windows. A minute of silence goes by as Adriano stares in complete stillness. Moving out from the trash bags Adriano stands over the dead body of his father in shock. Adriano then begins to stumble, falling backwards he begins to wail, shrieking in sorrow as his body writhes all over the bloodstained pavement.The son's tears mix with the blood of the father...

    After this horrific event Adriano was found roaming the streets later that day and was brought into authorities. Adriano was always a silent child but after what occurred he was in a silent trace, unable to even say a word to authorities who tirelessly tried to question him. The authorities couldn't trace or find out about any of Adriano's relatives even his mother. Ever since the divorce the whereabouts of his mother were unknown as Rodriguez made sure contact was cut from her. They sent him to a temporary shelter in Dracove until one day he was transferred to Blackhaven Institution. There he was given a room in the orphan wing. Even among the fellow orphans he was quiet and didn't really have many friends. He didn't really talk to anyone except the institution's child psychiatrist. His days at the institution were relatively peaceful except for one incident in which Adriano stole a knife from the cafeteria and was found aggressively stabbing at a wall in his room before trying to turn the knife on himself, this was reported by a fellow rather shaken up orphan. On the day of the fire, among the panic and chaos it was believed that Adriano was seen walking towards the fire rather than running from it. Though the entire institution was consumed by the flames of the corruption inevitably, it was as if Adriano was accepting of this fate already as if it was something he wanted...

    Through the consummation of the flame and the corruption of the evil he was painfully melded into a demon. The intense feelings,emotions,and horrible memories from that day all came back in one instance and Adriano began to lose control of himself as the corruption shaped him. Now as a demon in the alternate Blackhaven Institution Adriano is a product of his affliction which are unshakable. Similar to the 'Devastated Angel' of the Nursery Wing, Adriano stumbles around the institution appearing to be in a daze, but unlike the 'Devastated Angel', Adriano is actually fully aware of his surroundings. His head is covered in a pitch black plastic-like skin, his eyes always appear to be rolling into the back of his head and his mouth is open almost all of the time. On his chest a large wound with a handle protruding from the middle of it, his skin is a sickly grey covered in filth, marks, ashes, and charred flesh like most other demons found in the alternate Blackhaven. Oddly there are times in which he appears in a deceptive but normal human form. When encountered Adriano pulls on the handle in his chest pulling out a blade dripping in his own blood. Attached to this jagged blade appears to be his pulsating bleeding heart. When in this state Adriano's behavior is very insect-like and his shrieks are in insectoid tones, he can even scurry around and attach himself onto walls and even ceilings. Adriano's speed and agility makes him a very dangerous encounter among the demons of the institution. He is completely versatile and strange in his movement patterns as he can dislocate, bend, and completely twist his joints as well as even spin his head in 360 degrees. During the encounter Adriano may randomly scurry swiftly ahead into the dark and hide himself awaiting for his victim to passbye to surprise them. It is best to watch for and protect your chest area as Adriano's attacks are usually always focus in that area. The key to debilitating this demon maybe found by finding a way to disarm him from his blade.
