Doomshade Of Draconian Despair

This ancient demonic shade brings complete desolation,despair, and ultimately doom to the area it chooses to haunt,it favors to dwell in cathedrals and any other religious structure. The energy it emanates is so severe and dark in nature it creates an atmosphere of utter despair where it resides,the bastion of hope it dwells in becomes empty and cold husk as the once comforting presence that filled its halls is dead...,all life in the area begins to fade losing the will to live from plants,to animals,to humans...People afflicted will wait to slowly to die, day and night will go by without as much as a movement. Near the end they collapse out of physical and mental exhaustion into a state of severe depression huddled like a sleeping infant shivering and crying black tears as the shade's cold embrace destroys them. They will die of thirst or starvation as they endure mental torture and suffering. When all is dead the shade will linger for awhile and those who just entered its radius will not suffer the same fate as those who have already been there at the time of its coming. They will feel its powerful,dismal presence as they begin to walk through a cold world that seems like it is suspend in time,surroundings desaturated and bleak the silent atmosphere wreaks with the presence of death. The shade's presence in time will fade and drift away and life will come back to the land as the shade will move once it has found an individual to embody as it seeks out the body of a holy man who has come to investigate the land and drive away the evil. The shade corrupts and embodies this person possessing them and bringing its plague of doom onto another land.

Not many dare to face this ancient shade as it mere presence strikes fear and hopelessness into the average man but those who feel blessed and protected by God feel the will to rid the land of this evil which can lead them to their demise...At one point a team of professional and strong hearted exorcist dared to enter its land and face it in the cathedral it dwells in. A few of them succumbed to the shade's powerful presence and fled before entering the cathedral,for the few who entered awaited a horrific encounter face to face with the shade itself. Four of them entered the cathedral covered by a blanket of moonlight,a deep emptiness could be felt all around the four exorcist as they held tight to their holy instruments. The silence was unbearable inside the desolate cathedral, no matter how many layers of the clothing the exorcise wore the cold was chilling to the bone,shivering they recited holy text as they began to call out to and challenge the shade. Seemingly out of nowhere the shade began to manifest itself as the exorcist nervously watched an ancient evil appear right in front of their eyes. Dark tendrils sprouted from underneath the shade as its image became more and more clear, its arms elongated and draped in darkness,Though shrouded in mostly shadows its torso,nose and forehead glowed in the moonlight, its face sunken,empty, and pitch black.... The exorcists began chanting holy spells to rid of the demon but it did not budge.

The shade lifted its arm and began to point at one of the exorcist who was carrying a ceremonial dagger, the exorcise suddenly become still and his eye sockets became sunken and black, the other exorcists watched it terror as he wept black blood as he began to slice his throat with the ceremonial dagger bleeding heavily and dying on the floor. Facing another exorcist this one also became suddenly still, breathing heavily the exorcist watched a gaping black hole start to form in his chest, dropping to his knees the exorcist began to convulse as his face became shrouded in complete darkness, laying on the ground this exorcise was soon dead as there was a gaping pitch black hole in his chest and where his face use to be. The two remaining exorcise frantically began to chant louder and tried to with force but their voices where shaky and they showed fear. Opening its large hands the shade began to create a ball of writhing darkness in its palms,launching this ball of shadows at an exorcist he was lifted off the ground as the ball erupted into slithers of darkness that began to viciously wrap around the body of the exorcise suspended in midair,his screams where muffled by darkness and as the darkness parted the exorcist's body vanished. The last exorcist stood their paralyzed in fear as the shade slowly approached him,putting it's hand on the exorcist chest it delve into his soul eliminating it and taking his place. The possessed holy man is human no more and is simply an embodiment of the shade,stumbling back to his homeland the possessed man will enter his house of worship and once again the shade will bring its reign of draconian doom,despair,and desolation onto the exorcist's homeland.....
