Piece #6- The Demons Will Know...- “His body shivering in the darkness below, descended for what he had done, the demons will know...”

When Kevin heard the news that his cancer has relapsed, his renewed sense of life after that dark struggle had collapsed. Though not the always the nicest person, his illness had changed his ways. Sent him on a path of redemption where he met Hye-Mi, when the negative thoughts were urging him to stray. In meeting Hye-Mi he found a reason to love, a reason why he was previously cured and not taken above. He never knew a girl so pure, a girl so beautiful, that her presence could melt his cold heart like the snow. From his darkest times they became the best of friends, from then on Kevin never wanted this feeling to ever end. The doctors words sounding like a sentence to death, Kevin's heart in pieces his soul unable to rest. He then realized if he couldn't stay alive, he would never be able to love Hye-Mi and alone he would die. Distraught he left with poisonous thoughts, if a love between them could never blossom, it would be better together that they rot... He couldn't stand the thought of Hye-Mi eventually moving on to live her life without him, to forget about him and find another to love. A dark cloud loomed over his head, the thoughts of a man with nothing to lose , one that inside was already dead. With a gun in his back pocket he called Hye-Mi to surprise her in the park. A moment he thought would be used for him to confess his love, instead used to tear them apart. Approaching the park the world was now a colorless devoid place to him. The sun high in the sky showered the passing clouds with a silver lining. Rays of light traversed the grass for just moments as the whistling wind rattled the leaves of the trees. Walking towards her none of this mattered, his mind just afflicted with the thought that if it wasn't with him, Hye-Mi should never know love. Telling her to close her eyes, he almost broke down after seeing her pure smile for the last time. Reaching into his back pocket pulling out the gun, he wrapped his arms around her. Pulling the trigger once the gun rested in that point of her back, that would reach her heart. Without hesitation he pulled the trigger, one bullet and two hearts left destroyed. Their final embrace dripping in red... Darkness followed the brief moment of sharp pain, he felt an emptiness so powerful his soul felt no more then a husk. Gasping on his breath he felt himself sinking below, unable to see where he will now go.

His body shivering in the darkness below,

descended for what he had done,

the demons will know...

The shear cold rattles his very core,

now trapped in a world coated in black snow.

Screaming, no one could hear him, only they can find him.

Black beings, the darkness within manifested to torment, forever suffer, a vessel to be confined in.

Violating his body and his mind, the demons ravaged him and won.

No punishment can compare, once the damage has been done...
